“ Booked for another Sunday lunch and did not disappoint in fact the roast beef was the most succulent I’ve ever had anywhere and knife just glided through it. Loved the veg especially the roasted carrots snd roasties. Absolutely wonderful food. ”
“ Best roast i have eaten in years. All meats so tender and juicy especially the beef. Roast potsyltoes were very crispy vegetables were roasted and red cabbage was very tasty. We went on 6th April with my family and will ne going back and spreading the word. All staff were very friendly even though we had a 1 year old and a 4 year old. ”

Really friendly staff, all smiling and seemed to be enjoying their work (which probably comes from knowing your customers are super happy!). Carvery chef Mike, was brilliant and generous, second helping of veg went down a treat! Madie was a great waitress and very attentive, but not overly so! Highly recommended. ”

“ Went to this pub last night for new years eve. Lovely smart pub welcoming atmosphere. We were blown away by the friendly staff, who could not do enough, so friendly and approachable.s special thanks to Katie our server and Jack at the bar for going over and above.The manager Chelsea obviously knows how to lead her team as they all seems so happy she even stopped to chat despite being busy. They even closed the bar for short while at 12 so the staff could be part of the new year celebrations what a thoughtful manager. I will definitely be returning to try the roast. The meat is cooked to perfection and the veggies roasted just to my taste. Thank you for giving service to match the food. Oh and did I say, it’s served every day! ”
“ Impromptu first visit whilst driving home from Lakeside and looking for somewhere to eat. We remembered that it was recently renovated. Nice calm and relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff. I have the ribs which was succulent and tasty. My wife had the Chicken. Sharwama which she thought it was very good. In the future we will try the all day carvery or Sunday Roast. Great find! Will definitely go there again ”
